Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos

The majority of robot vacuum and mop combinations can be customized using a specialized application. You can save maps of your home as well as create cleaning schedules and select the mopping mode you prefer. You can also alter the suction power and fine-tune the amount of water and the scrubbing action of your mop.

A mapping function will help your robot navigate around rooms. An obstacle avoidance feature will stop it from running into wires, furniture, or stray toys. These are must-have features in my home, which is filled with strewn-about toys.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the top-of-the-line mop and vacuum, which is why it naturally comes packed with features. It can mop and sweep simultaneously, and can even lift its mop pads or brushes so that soft surfaces don't get too wet. It also has the ability to see and avoid obstacles, thanks to the ability to spot pet toys, plants and other small objects.

The maximum suction power is 6,000 pascals. This is more than any robot vacuum we have tested so far. It also has PreciSense LiDAR navigation to track its location, which prevents it from getting stuck on objects.

The S8 Pro Ultra's mopping capabilities are also impressive. It can apply constant pressure to the pad of more than 6 Newtons to give a thorough clean. It also has mop lifter technology which lifts the pad automatically when it transitions between tile and laminate, hardwood and carpet or rugs, in order to avoid soaking the soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing, and self-drying features. The pad can be cleaned and heat-dried within the dock and the dust container is automatically emptied and returned to it. This means you can leave it in place and forget it, only having to change the dust bag or refill the water tank occasionally.

All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its standard vac- and mop-settings for approximately 160 minutes before it began to run out of power and returned to its base to recharge. This is not far off of the 180 minutes that Roborock claims and is in line with other hybrids that I've tested.

It's a robust, well-rounded product. The only issue is that it's pricey. Its sheer number of features make it a very attractive option for anyone looking to replace their old mops and stick vacuums. If you can afford the cost we recommend you check this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium combination. The price is justified by the robust features, including a large vacuuming capacity and two gyrating mop heads. It also includes an app-based, smart controller and a mighty obstacle avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuums and mop sets available with a suggested retail price of 999 euros. In  automated vacuum , it performed admirably across the house. It removed 98.4 percent of the debris on all kinds of floors and managed to lift hair that was long without getting caught in. The mops were also excellent, achieving great cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models, due to their rotational motion and a strong dose of cleaning solution.

However, the L10S Ultra's most significant highlight is its multifunctional docking station. The docking station empties the dustbin into a bag to collect dirt, fills up the water tank to mop and also dry mop pads. It has a real-time hazards detection system, and its smart controls allow you to schedule periodic cleaning sessions.

Contrary to the other hybrid mops that I test and compared, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris removal on carpets. In addition it's not as capable at scrubbing away staining that is as strong as those in the top Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra’s high-end features, it requires regular maintenance. To prevent the growth of mildew or unpleasant odors, the base unit dustbag, water and tanks must be cleaned and emptied regularly. They also need to be dried. It is also important to remember that the mop pads, that are bought separately, will need to be replaced regularly too.

With the L10S Ultra's high-end cost and robust features, I would recommend it to anyone with the budget for it. For those who are on a tighter budget, I suggest considering a more rudimentary model that allows you to save money while enjoying the convenience of hands-free cleaning at your home. Even even if the L10S Ultra was the best vacuum and robotic mop you could find, its high price and ongoing maintenance would make it more an item to have than one that you actually need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're in search of a robot mop and vacuum that will remove dust and dirt on your hard floors, while taking care of wet messes, then you should look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful mop and robot vacuum combo comes with an impressive suction power of 8,000 Pa, an impressively large battery capacity for mopping and vacuuming and a top-of-the-line obstacles-avoiding. It even comes with a roller mop that cleans itself as it moves, which makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that require users to return to their base station mid-cleaning to clean the mop's pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a big difference from the microfibre pads and spinning discs that other robots. Its roller runs almost the full width of the bot and is continuously supplied with clean, ozonated water from its dock. The roller scrubs the floor while collecting dirt. Dry debris is removed using the side brushes, or swept away into the front collision bumper. The S1 Pro then discharges the mop water that is dirty into its base station, which is then absorbed by the tank's heating elements and then pumped into a larger storage canister. The onboard tank holds a decent amount of water, and can handle about half a dozen mopping sessions before running dry.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use out of the package as do other robotic vacuums and mops. The S1 Pro needs to be refilled with clean water. This is easily accomplished in the cleaning dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock should you prefer the option of using your own brand of cleaner. If you choose this feature, however, you will be required to purchase the Eufy brand cleaning solution, which is more costly than other robot brands, allowing you to use your choice of cleaners.

Like most robots like it, the S1 Pro did well in navigation efficiency and coverage evaluations. It was fast to map a room, and it was able to navigate around furniture. It was stuck on carpets with thick piles several times during my tests. However this could be improved by updating the software. The S1 Pro is a very robust robot that is available at affordable prices.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level vacuum and mop however it has some impressive features. Its multi-function dock drains the robot's dirtbag, and refills its water tanks, as well as washing and sanitizing the mop pads as it goes. The mopping system can sweep a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's extreme suction is perfect for picking up pet hair and other debris that accumulates on carpets.

The software that runs this appliance is complex, with a broad range of options to customize the cleaning process. You can manually initiate an entire map and clean of everything that the device maps, or you can select individual rooms, expandable zones, or even a routine that you've set up. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It makes use of the sensors on the mops to map the area and determine the most efficient way to clean it.

The Qrevo did well in our tests, as all Roborock models we've tested. Its navigation system is reliable that can quickly map rooms and cleaning them in an organized fashion. The 'Normal' setting for pathing does an excellent job of covering a room, with no gaps or missing areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is also quite effective however it's not as sophisticated as the color camera system of the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It is able to detect dangers like thick carpets but might not be able to recognize smaller items such as rug tassels and electrical wires.

The most obvious flaw with this model is the absence of a mop-after-vacuum option, which could be an issue for people who do a lot of vacuuming before cleaning their robot. Fortunately, there's a simple alternative: the app has an option to "clean up" at the end of each vacuuming session. You can use the vacuum's mopping capabilities to remove the last traces and dust that were left behind after vacuuming. This is a great feature that helps this robot keep its cleanness a bit higher than its cheaper competitors.
