Robots That Vacuum and Mop
Robots that clean and vacuum offer the convenience of cleaning dry debris and wet mess in one time and without the need to switch between devices. They can also save space when compared to two separate units, particularly in smaller living spaces.
A good combination bot must have impressive navigation and obstacles avoidance. Look for models with docks that let them automatically empty their bins, fill their water tanks, and wash the mopping pads.
1. Eufy S1 Pro
It's among the easiest robots to set up that we've tested. Unpacking is easy and the quick-start manual can get you up and running in no time with the complete dust bag, water tank, and a hard floor.
The S1 Pro is an incredibly powerful machine that can vacuum and mop well. The mops are spun at a high speed and utilize 2.2 pounds (1kg of force) to quickly remove dirt, pet hair and sticky dried spills. The vacuum cleaner comes with four power settings, a range of attachments and brushes and an intuitive app that lets you choose the kind of cleaning you'd like to do for each room.
You can, for example request the robot to clean the kitchen and living room thoroughly but leave the spare bedroom alone. The S1 Pro's front colision sensors and its smart navigation technology are excellent too, with the robot being capable of detecting tiny obstacles that other models struggle with. Its only minor issue is that it can crash into walls and objects at full speed - but just a glance at the cleaning history in the app tells you exactly what it's doing and where it's headed, and which obstacles it's avoided.
The docking station has an LCD display that indicates the need for maintenance for cleaning up debris and washing the dirty water tank. It also mixes detergent into the tank in a controlled manner with a 600ml of eufy solution.
Both the S1 Pro mop and vacuum have a long running time. The mop can operate for 184 minutes in Quiet Mode, and the vacuum can last 136 mins in standard mode, before having to recharge or returning to the base. You can also view the complete cleaning details within the app, which is clearly laid out and easy to understand, though we would like to be able to distinguish between a vacuum only or mop clean, when looking at a cleaned area in the history of cleaning.
2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the latest version of the company's top robot vacuum and mop. In contrast to the model of last year this one has an agitator that doubles in its mopping pad, which significantly improves its carpet cleaning abilities. robot vacuum cleaner cheap has enhanced suction power, which allows it to pull up small hairs and other debris that other robotic cleaners may be unable to pick up.

The Roborock model, just like the other two I tested, has infrared and reactive 3D obstacle avoidance technology that helps it avoid obstacles such as walls, furniture, and other obstacles. The S8 Pro Ultra goes one step further and includes two cameras that can recognize objects, determining if they're walls or other surfaces. It is able to change its course in a way that is automatic and clean around them, without missing a step.
It's the most expensive of the three models I've examined, but it's also the most packed with features. Its sleek, angular design is striking and has just three physical buttons that include the power button which can also restart cleaning; a mop button that doubles as a child lock and a home button to send the robot back to its dock. Lifting the hinged lid reveals 350ml of dust bin and 200ml water tank. The water tank will empty itself and the bin is auto-refilling.
The only downside I've discovered with this model was that its VibraRise mop pad mount isn't removable. While you can swap out the mopping cloth (if it's required), it's a pain to remove the mount itself to wash manually. I've observed that any soft carpet the robot crosses will come into contact with the rough Velcro-like fastener mechanism on the mount, and that can cause scratches.
The S8 Pro Ultra has a variety of smart features, including support for Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Siri. You can configure and manage these using the Roborock app which is also the home of its maps and advanced mopping settings. The app allows you to schedule cleanings, track battery life and component maintenance. But you'll need to jump through a few hoops in order to enable voice control on this model, which is a shame considering how well it performs otherwise.
3. Dreame X40
The Dreame X40 is an industry-leading robot vacuum and mop that has outstanding suction power, advanced mowing capabilities, and innovative features. Its intelligent design allows for personalized and efficient cleaning, while also saving time.
The X40 robot vacuum cleaner is the first to feature 12,000 Pascals cleaning power. It is among the most powerful choices available. This powerful vacuum can clean up pet hair dust, crumbs and any other dry mess. It also has a high-quality mop that leaves floors sparkling clean, even with a wet pad. In addition the X40 is extremely quiet during operation, only producing occasional bursts of noise when switching between modes or performing self-maintenance tasks.
Another standout characteristic is the X40's extendable and liftable side brushes, which lets it get into hard-to-reach corners and intimately clean curved furniture like table and chairs' legs. It can also get under low-profile furnishings which makes it a great option for smaller apartments or condos. The side brush automatically tilts down when it detects wet spots. This is a wonderful feature that allows the X40 to prevent damage to floors from excessive back-and forth movements.
Unlike some other robots that only focus on one thing, the X40 can perform both vacuuming and mopping at the same time or in a series. It can also be programmed to skip areas with carpet and mop only hard floors, and vice versa. It can be controlled via the Dreame App or Alexa, Siri, or Google Home to ensure smooth voice-controlled operations.
The app is intuitive and easy to use and the X40's intelligent features are easy to set up. Users can program the X40 to clean at specific times, adjust suction power and mode, view floor plans and maps, and manage mopping settings. The X40 can also monitor its progress and notify you when it's done.
The X40 is easy to maintain and has many features that make it an excellent option for busy families. The docking station can automatically cleans the dustbin and the mop pads, then refill them with cleaning solution and fresh water. It also can detect if the mop pad is at its maximum capacity and notify you of the situation before it overflows.
4. L20 Ultra
The L20 Ultra is a high-end robot that is among the most expensive available however, it comes with many additional features that make it stand out. Its mops have a new feature called Smart DuoScrub. This utilizes two mops that are high-speed to clean floors more thoroughly than the conventional method, and has the highest suction power of 7,000Pa. This is higher than the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra and Ecovacs Deebots T20 Omni. It can also vacuum up pet hair, small dirt particles and pick up spills and dirty spots.
automated vacuum cleaner are also dried and cleaned inside the base station after every use. This feature is great as it keeps mould and unpleasant odours from accumulating in storage. It also makes the mop system more efficient. This is a feature we haven't seen before on other robot vacuum and mop models. It could be a great method to keep your home clean longer.
There are many choices, including the possibility to schedule cleanings and adjust preferences. They can be set through the app or there are buttons on the device itself. The app is simple to use and has many options to customize your cleaning routine. It also comes with many features that aren't available on other robots, for instance the Clean Genius Mode, which automatically increases suction when it detects any dust particles.
The L20 Ultra is also one of the most stylish robots we've seen on market, sporting a white and metallic design that looks classy and sophisticated. It's a bit heavier at 4kg than some of the other robots on this list but it's not excessively heavy. It feels solid and well-constructed. The mopping design is also excellent and the double-rotating mops work well on hard floors and in corners. The MopExtend feature lets them reach up to 2mm below baseboards.
